This morning at one of our wholesalers, I fell in love with this rose - Barista.  It looks pink, and purple and brown.... and just delightful! Today I played a bit in the shop and created dark and moody designs as well as soft and elegant. Such a versatile colour! A bit vintage, but with depth and warm tones that are a pleasure to behold. 

I often wonder what kind of wild colours the rose growers will come out with next! To be honest, I have been at this so long that I remember colours like Leonidas and Fire and Ice - varieties that were discontinued long ago. Red toned roses like Classy which were so bright - they were almost garish in appearance! It never ceases to amaze me what Mother Nature and grower ingenuity come up with!
